The CKA diffuser is designed for ceiling applications in large spaces to achieve the different throw characteristics required in heating and cooling of spaces automatically. Since cold air tends to go down, and warm air tends to float; it is necessary that air is supplied horizontally when cooling, and vertically downwards when heating. The CKA diffuser provides this facility by adjusting the throw direction manually or by a servomotor. These diffusers are intended for supply air usage.
Specifications
These diffusers are mainly composed of two concentric circular elements and are suitable for use up to 15 m. heights. The neck, which is sized to suit norm round ducts, enlarges smoothly outwards. A perforated plate is placed below the neck to provide uniform air distribution inside the diffuser. The internal element is rotated either manually or by a servomotor, while the outer one is fixed.
