The BDS series prison grilles are designed for supply and extract of air in places where security is needed; e.g. prisons, police stations or places prone to vulgar attacks.
Specifications
They are manufactured from 3 mm thick mild steel plate, and are resistant to being bent or removed unless special heavy-duty tools are available. The front plate has perforations of 4.2 mm diameter with 6.5 mm pitch on triangular axes, giving a free area of 37.8%. The front plate is secured against the wall by studs and nuts going through the wall and backing plate and sandwiching the wall between the plates.
